Crazy, Stupid Love New Adult Giveaway Hop!

Crazy Stupid Love Button

First, I’d like to thank the lovely ladies at Talk Supe for organizing and hosting this very cool New Adult Blog Hop!  If you haven’t already done so, please stop by their blog and see what other good stuff they have going on.

 ***

I’ve chosen Jes Young’s Princess of Twilight and Dawn series to give away today!  Its heroine, Tab Bennett, is 25 years old.  Yes, she’s on the cusp of the age range that defines this genre so I might be pushing it, but I think it’s her character growth that really makes these books perfect for the hop.

Tab has to learn some hard truths about who she is and what she’s destined to become.  Over the course of these two books, we see Tab go from sheltered to independent; powerless to empowered.  She’s also a smart ass which makes her lots of fun to read.  Of course, this wouldn’t be a giveaway at She-Wolf Reads if the stories didn’t have some supernatural/paranormal/fantastical aspect to them and these books certainly do.

The Princess of Twilight and Dawn series is only available for Kindle so I’m giving away one Kindle copy each of TAB BENNETT & THE INBETWEEN (Book #1) and THE UNDERNEATH (Book #2) – you can read my reviews here and here!

I think you nailed it that growth is key — especially in the New Adult genre. And 25 is plenty young enough to be crazy & stupid. ;)

  29. Alicia W.B. says:

My favorite New Adult read was Easy, by Tammara Webber. This is my first time hearing about the Princess of Twilight and Dawn series, but it looks like fun!

  30. Meghan Stith says:

The new adult genre is new to me and I assume new to the world as well. I looked up the definition online and it is described as novels written about the time during college, after or during early career. This clarifies the difference between YA which focuses more on high schoolers and NA. I like this genre much more because I, myself, am a college student and have been out in the working world. It’s easier for me to relate to a character in college or in their early working years than one in high school. My favorite NA novels are “Poughkeepsie” by Debra Anastasia and “Beautiful Disaster.” They both have strong male roles with major flaws. I can’t wait to read both their sequels.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  51. Krysta B. says:

I really like ‘On Dublin Street’ by Samantha Young.

  52. Stephanie says:

I love that you have a paranormal option for the hop! It seems like everyone seems to think that NA is only romance/contemporary, when it is really about the characters facing more mature issues! Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Days of Blood and Starlight (which I consider more NA, then YA) would be my favorite!

Welcome!

This is a blog about the books I read. Which are mostly urban fantasy. Mostly.
