A self-proclaimed “book-a-holic,” I was introduced to the genre of urban fantasy through the Sookie Stackhouse series. After the first book, I was hooked and have not looked back. My favorite series are Mercy Thompson and Alpha & Omega by Patricia Briggs, Jane Yellowrock by Faith Hunter, the Parasol Protectorate by Gail Carriger, and the Disillusionist Trilogy by Carolyn Crane. And these are just to name a few. I want to use this blog to write down my thoughts on the books I read. Hopefully, those thoughts are interesting.
At one point, I considered naming the blog, “over-the-shoulder butt shot” based on the typical covers for these books. Who knows…I might change it.
